PHOTOGRAPHER REPORT:

Gig after gig, year after year Tom McRae just keeps on being this talented songwriter – quality melodies and quality lyrics – and talented performer. Cooking Vinyl has now signed him a few months ago, which allowed him to bring more buddies on stage to form a full band, counting Brian Wright at the guitar, member of the Hotel Café project. The songs were intense and everybody on stage seemed to enjoy playing just like it was their first gig in ages, and most of the lucky people in the audience - it was a sold out event – were mesmerized and seemed to have spent one hell of an almost 2 hours show.

Tom has this ability to sing relatively to very sad songs and make some jokes in between to a very receptive crowd. He can even sing a cover song of Rihanna 'Umbrella' - changed to Tombrella while talking about merchandising ideas. However, 'The End Of The World News' could be the highlight of the night, when Tom asked the audience to sing the two different voices as a choir.

There could be many details to go on about, but I am no reviewer so I will keep it there. This was another brilliant Tom McRae show. He will never fail to impress me. Best is if you go and see him! One perfect night, and if you've missed it, the McRae clan will be back at Shepherd's Bush in October.
