Fuelblooded – Inflict The Inevitable
Copro
Do you pine for the days of 'And Justice For All'? Do you miss the heaviness of early Metallica before they churned out poppy ballads and had psycho-therapists visit them in the studio? Well meet Fuelblooded from Holland. Formed from the ashes of Sacramental Sachem, their debut album 'Inflict The Inevitable' is an old school thrash-tastic offering that recalls all that was ever good about Metallica and even draws from bands such as Testament, The Haunted & Hatesphere. Songs like 'Measure Swords' resurrect the old-fashioned staple of the guitar solo and vocalist Vital Welten switches from melodic choruses to death metal screaming effortlessly. In 'Art Of Life', the albums vicious opener Vital does what most bands do with 2 singers, dual vocals for the price of one. 'Dissector Of Souls' is heart-wrenchingly heavy, the beatdown alone at the start is made for playing live, just don't be too near to the pit if you are of a nervous disposition. In all this album is heavy, heavy, heavy, simple as that. If you like your music with a dose of rampaging solos, galloping bass lines and brutal drumming then this is your new favourite band. Metal Thrashing Mad.
