Fell On Black DaysBring Out Your Dead

N/A

Hailing from the desolate former mining colony of Ebbw Vale, Fell On Black Days treat us to four tracks of hard edged thrash that's every bit as gritty and bleak as their grim surroundings. Drawing influence from Lamb Of God, Megadeth, and Slayer equally, FOBD take care of business with grim faced aplomb; guitars and drums battering away like a miners drill attacking a granite rock face. They're still a long way from being the finished article just yet; the more melodic vocals are shakier than Michael J Fox in an earthquake and there's plenty of riffs that are a country mile off the mark, yet if Fell On Black Days play to their strengths (best demonstrated on standout track 'Mea Culpa'), their future looks to be rather bright indeed.
